AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
DEFINITION: "1990 U.S. law that prohibits discrimination against people with mental or physical disabilities…Under the ADA, companies must make 'reasonable accommodations' to provide the disabled with equal access to services and opportunities as long as such accommodations do not cause 'undue hardship'." · Does the ADA secure the civil rights of people with disabilities?
· Have employment opportunities (for the disabled) improved since the passage of the ADA?
