FAU students of the U/C Library on the Davie Campus must have their Owl Library card information updated at the U/C Library each semester. Activating your card at the U/C Library must be done in person at the Circulation Desk the first time you want to use it. Please bring your OWL card. After that, your card can be updated by calling the Circulation Desk (954.201.6649) or by using the online form below.

FAU Faculty, Adjuncts, and Staff of the U/C Library on the Davie Campus must have their Owl Library card information entered into the U/C Library patron database to use the U/C Library. After that, the card expiration date will be based on the expiration date of your OWL card or your contract with FAU.

INSTRUCTIONS

·         Complete and submit the form below to request the updating of your library card if you are currently enrolled Student or an FAU Faculty, Adjunct, or Staff Member who needs their card activated. Please allow at least one business day for processing. You will be contacted by e-mail when your card is updated. If you need your card updated sooner, call the Circulation Desk at 954.201.6649.

·         At the bottom of your FAU Owl Card is your library card number. You must include all 14-digits, but not the letters "A." This bar code number begins with "21976......

ACCESS PROBLEMS       

·   If you are having problems accessing the FAU databases online, you will need to contact the FAU Library at Boca, 561-297-6911.

·   If you are having problems accessing the BC databases from off-campus, your user ID is your library card number starting with 21976....(no letters) and the PIN is the last four digits of your social security number.

·   If you are having any other problems with the BC databases, call the Circulation Desk at 954.201.6649.
